The return of Live Theatre to The Michigan Theatre of Jackson continues with: JUICE | A New Play by Janet Meyer-Jackman
In the gritty heart of 1970's Greenwich Village, Juice, a young single mother, tirelessly builds a new life for herself and her daughter, Angel, relying on the unwavering support of her gay friend, Patrick. This fragile existence is threatened when her estranged mother, Margaret, reappears after a decade, her intentions shrouded in mystery. Driven by a desperate need to protect Angel Juice races to hide her daughter's existence until she understands Margaret's sudden return. The arrival of Bill, Margaret’s husband, further unravels long-held secrets and painful truths, forcing Juice on a difficult journey of introspection and a crucial decision about embracing her future or succumbing to the weight of her past.
